What we want?

Ensure the reintroduction of at least 10 manatees into the wild, with all the necessary safeguards and monitoring actions for the animals' welfare, and obtain the resources to feed another 10 animals for a year. Unfortunately, the historic flood we are going through has aggravated the urgency to adopt effective measures to manage these animals.

The amount collected will be used to feed, repair the captivity tank filters that purify the water from the occupied reservoirs, carry out health tests, transport to RDS Piagaçu Purus, monitor with telemetry and ensure that the animal is adapting well to life free.
